Art and Craft with Heart

Yesterday I happened to visit to Metromix and never thought I will fall in love with it. When you start towards Metromix, little you know what you are to experience. First you try to find the road and then hotel... Ah ah you have spotted it and and a bit disappointed thinking that its not a big place as you thought. But hold on... don't start your mental rating meter. Going inside you are in for a shock to find such little sitting place. Go ahead you can write a negative mark for this. You need to wait for a minute or two (personally I don't mind to wait). You can also give negative mark if you want. Now you open the menu which is simply fantastic. So many items on the menu card for such a small place, you think. All of sudden you become skeptical. Start to worry if this would ruin your night. Soon the order is served (with a bit delay) and you take your first bite or sip AND voila..... All of a sudden you forget about the ratings, waiting, small sport etc mediocre things and start to ascend towards heaven. Now you are talking only about food. Now you again take the menu and read the items one by one and then realize that this hotel will never talk about feeding you with so called tasty food, but what it has to offer is articulately CRAFTED, superb menu which holds true to every statement written in it. If it says mouthwatering then it will be mouthwatering...That's how it is. Now you are trapped and have no other alternative than to come here as and when you need a tasty delicious treat. P.S. You are also welcome to suggest your own dishes and who knows they will be served to you better than your imagination. There are only 5 stars to give..Such a pity.

Favourite Place For Italian!

This is probably the best place for Italian food this side of town! The pastas, especially the lasagna is awesome! I always feel they should have more options in Veg Starters. Also service is very slow, even if there aren't many people in the restaurant. But their food is bang on! Authentic grub! Also, I had tried the Sizzlers once, amazing amazing stuff!

Hidden Gem

This is really one of the hidden gem restaurants me and my friends found out at this side of town. They are specially good at pastas lasagne. Pasta was the best we ate in recent times. The quality is too good of the pasta . But I find one the restaurant to be too small if you are 8 to 10 people. But who cares if the food is good. Superb continental food we had for main course. Will visit again with my core group of Conti ;)

The awesome place Situated in Kothrud, though its a bit hard to find if your going for the first time - but the food and service makes it up to you once you reach there after you have been irritated by finding it. You want authentic food - the place is metromix. You want great service (even on weekends) the place is metromix. There are these beautiful and unconventional interiors that would surely make you think and laugh. Overall a very good experience.

Nice place

This place is good if you are looking for different cuisine and in the area of Kothrud. I have been here frequently and sometimes I find that the quality of food goes down. The afternoon chef needs to sharpen his culinary skills. All in all I think it is a nice place to go if you want to avoid long drives and want to taste something different. I like the Thai curry and the nachos. What I did not understand was the AC on a very low setting. The summer days and nights are hot here so despite requesting them to switch it on, you tend to feel hot and there is no air circulation. I don't understand if they are trying to conserve electricity. It would be better to have natural ventilation instead. The ambiance is very inspired by Mario Miranda. Nice and cheerful.
