LOCATION -The Rolling Pin is situated opposite Palladium Mall Lower parel .
AMBIANCE - High ceiling makes this place looks spacious . It has an open kitchen concept which is a rare sight in Mumbai . They have a vast pastry section along with a bread section right at the entry . The seating arrangement is divided in to 3 ? high table & chairs for larges groups , regular wooden chairs & tables for small groups & the couch .They have used stuffed gunny bags as props above their open kitchen which is quite innovative & definitely catches your eye .
DRINKS- We ordered the belgian chocolate truffle thick shake ? which was dark , thick , coarse & a little extra sweet served in a steel jar . Next we ordered the dark roast ice blended coffee which was served in a mason jar which was lite , smooth , milky & subtle flavoured . Both were enjoyed by us .
SERVICE -The staff is vernacular they find it difficult to explain the drinks / dishes in the menu ; do not expect any recommendation from them . Order takes 20-30 mins to reach your table .The bill came wrapped on a rolling pin which was very innovative matching to the name of the resto.
OVERALL -OVER PRICED .This place is ideal when you have finished your shopping at the crowded mall & need some coffee in a quiet place to chill with friends .
