Diamond in a gold mine

located in a very competitive area serving such a wonderful experience apart from meals. fantastic place to be visited. have visited more than 4 times. All times with different taste of foods and different place to sit with such a large dining area followed by mesmerizing ambiance and beautiful people around that makes you worth reaching there in highly busy area. not able to recollect the food items ordered but had all good food all the times. when it comes to order desert that was a real twist of the place and goes right with the name its chef's choice desert in the house and brought up in a display all together., that was a fantastic way of serving the last item and leaving the customer with a sweet way.

Different Oriental Cuisine...

Finding good oriental cuisine is difficult. The authentic joints are prohibitively expensive and the others average out the dishes. The culprit usually is the schezwan flavor which infiltrates everything and makes a mockery of the variety which the cuisine offers. This is where curry twist scores big time. Curry twist shares the same entrance as cafe O and is the part of the chakra resto bar across the road. Curry twist is strictly vegetarian cuisine , it however does great justice to veggie food. We rambled in very late on gandhi jayanti at round 3:30 pm and were the last order of the afternoon. The order was for a five treasure soup , Exotic veg oyster vegetables and Korean garlic rice. All the three dishes were delightful. The soup was completely of a different flavor and did not have the schezwan or garlic overload to it.It was surprisingly a little creamy with julienne veggies in it. The art of julienning the veggies enhances the taste of the soup immensely. I highly recommend the soup as it is flavorful and yet not overly spicy. The main course was also exceptionally good. The Korean garlic rice just hit the spot. I have always seen that oriental rice get their flavor from being in the wok for a longer time rather than a quick flash fry. Stir fried veggies work good with flash fry but not rice. The Korean garlic rice at curry twist has an exceptional smoky flavor with a hint of burnt garlic. The spring onions enhance the flavor of the dish too. The rice is not oily and you dont have a lipstick of grease on your lips once you have the rice. For me that is a good indicator of the dish. The exotic veg oyster veggies go very well with the rice. It was slightly below par as the dish is not visually appealing. Its like a black Manchurian sauce with exotic veggies in it.The rice and the dish do very well together. The addition of slightly braised zucchini adds a mouthful of flavor. Curry twist has a very good ambiance and the staff are well versed with the menu . We had the combination of curry and rice on recommendation of the server which we found to be very good. I am definitely visiting the joint again for their Indian fare which also seemed tempting.

Ambience is good. Had visited this place during christmas. They had beautifully decorated this place. Best thing about this place is its pure veg menu and serving lotts of jain items. Tried the Paneer Nazakat (with red gravy and spread of chopped coriander) just supperb... the Rajasthani Kadhi (curry) with soft pakoras is a must-order. Little expensive but worth going for good quality food. Service is poor.

Drastic drop in food quality

Curry twist was my most preferred veg restaurant until last week we had this worst experience. The quality has dropped drastically and they serve just for the sake of it. The veg crispy was horrible with hardly 10-12 pieces of veggies, tossed in just "No sauce"... dry and extremely pathetic. Felt like eating leftovers... The next order of our's was main course of Paneer Lahori & Awadhi biryani, the paneer was literally fried in besan and the gravy (supposed to be onion based) was just a mere tomato gravy in which tomatoes were uncooked and tasted really bad, it gave a total raw taste. I wonder how can a chef serve such food. Biryani was still edible, but being a frequent visitor to the restaurant one can distinguish between the previous quality and the later. No more visit for sure.

Perfect Gujju family place

This place is a perfect family place. Great ambiance, great food. The quantity, quality and the preparations are tasty and up to the mark. This is one of the places where me and my family generally go to celebrate an occasion. The staff is attentive and pro active. My plate was never empty, there was always a waiter around to ask me if I need anything or to serve the food. Ask for the desert tray in the end, they are really delicious. Also the lemon coriander soup is yummy!
